Frequently Asked Questions

How long are sessions?

Sessions are intentionally paced based on the experience selected and the needs of your family. I’ll always guide things so we stop once we’ve captured what we need — never rushed and never forced. For families with young children, this approach keeps things calm and enjoyable.

What if my kids don’t cooperate?

That’s completely okay — and very normal. My sessions are child-led and relaxed, which allows kids to be themselves. I follow their energy, take breaks when needed, and focus on genuine connection rather than perfect poses.

What should we wear?

After booking, I’ll share simple wardrobe guidance to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel comfortable. Neutral tones, soft textures, and coordination (not matching) tend to work best.

How Many Images Will we receive?

Each session includes a curated gallery of your best images. Rather than delivering a large quantity, I focus on selecting the strongest moments that feel timeless and meaningful.

When will we receive our gallery?

Galleries are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks. You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, and order prints if desired.

Do you offer in-home newborn sessions?

Yes. In-home newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home and are designed to feel calm and flexible during those early weeks. I bring professional lighting and handle all setup to create soft, natural images in your space.
A $50 in-home setup fee applies.

How far in advance should we book?

For family sessions, booking 4–6 weeks in advance is recommended. Newborn sessions are best reserved during the second or third trimester to ensure availability around your due date.

What if I’m not sure which experience is right for us?

No problem at all. Once you inquire, I’m happy to help you choose the experience that best fits your family and what you’re hoping to document.
